Contribute FeedbackOverall, the reviews for Tides Waterfront Kitchen were mixed. While some diners had a negative experience with slow service, raw food, and poor treatment from staff, others enjoyed the beautiful ocean views, prompt service, and decent food. The breakfast was praised for being very good, while the filet mignon was described as outstanding. The atmosphere was cozy and the oysters were fantastic. Despite some mishaps and disappointments, the restaurant seems to have potential for a pleasant dining experience with some improvements in service and food quality.
We were able to make a reservation for this restaurant for a time period in which it was closed. Very embarrassing for a business lunch. Will not return.
Beautiful view of sunset with terrific host and tasty food! Definitely would come back. Besides dinner, breakfast was awesome as well!
Meh is the best thing I can say about this place. Food, Meh....service, meh....value, YIKES.
Had a really nice meal. Yummy food, great location on the coast!!
This wasn’t a very good experience. Our server seemed to be in a bad mood rolled his eyes several times. We noticed them telling the hostess that he was getting too many tables. It was very hot in the restaurant and we began to sweat. The food was fresh—Halibut was a good size, yet the cook did not drain the mushrooms and the entree was very watery. We never saw a manager didn’t want to bother our busy server. I’m sure this is a good restaurant, but seems like a hit or miss. We unfortunately visited on a miss.
