Rockfish Harbor Grill - Monterey

This oceanfront restaurant offers a stunning view, and the service was excellent! The food was absolutely amazing; I would give it a perfect 10 out of 10! I celebrated my birthday here and was extremely satisfied.

Wow! What an amazing restaurant! The staff were incredibly friendly and allowed us to sit and enjoy the beautiful boats in the bay while we sipped wine and enjoyed some fresh bread.

On November 29, 2023, my husband and I dined at Rockfish Harbor Grill for the first time. The hostess greeted us with a smile and seated us at a table with a lovely sea view. The ambiance of the restaurant was very cozy. Our waiter was attentive and provided excellent service. We decided to share several dishes, all of which were delicious. The Alfredo pasta with chicken and vegetables was incredibly tasty, and the squid with shrimp was also fresh and flavorful. We are definitely looking forward to returning soon!

The Scampi here was the best meal I’ve eaten on a three week vacation through central California. The ocean view is amazing and the service was also great. It’s a bit pricy for sure, but in my opinion it’s fair value. My wife is vegetarian and they had a very good vegetable tower entree.

Their online booking system is useless. It told us that there were no tables til 8pm. We got there to a totally empty restaurant!! Ring for a table. Service was attentive once they realised we were a party of 2 not 8 people. Starters are large so we shared one. Food was tasty, freshly cooked. Would have been nicer earlier in the evening. Nice setting by the water.
