Parker-lusseau Pastries - Monterey

My new favorite café. Staff were very friendly, service was good, and the pastries were absolutely dead. I had a chai tea (which was fantastic), a mushroom and rag quiche that I warmed up and ate at the assortment, but beautiful outdoor sessions (and was incredibly delicious, 10/10 would order again), and bought to bring an individual cake and fruit tea home. All I've tried so far was delicious and I wanted to try so much more. Will definitely go again soon!!!

All right. A little cheaper than other bakeries. Loved the Black Forest cake and the nutcake. The tar was a little worse because the dough was a bit too hard.

Excellent pastries. Originally a almond croissant, brioche with vanilla custard and cinnamon pastries bought. Mandel Croissant was the best we ever had. The filling is not only marzipan, like most places, it is like a cream/citard with almond paste, the croissant itself, exceptional. After we finished, we bought two more to come home. Brioche with Vanilla Custard was also exceptional, also bought another to take home. Decided to taste a quiche Lorraine, delicious. Can't recommend this place anymore.

Small bakery on a quiet side street. Here the early bird doesn't get the worm. You don't have much of their offers when you start opening like croissants and sandwiches. I wanted to pick up something before a hike, but they will reserve a sandwich for you before the time. I picked up a brioche and I'd have to come back for the sandwich. “It’s not serious” was the impractical answer when I asked if I should also call. Oh, it's serious when I come back and the sandwich is gone! It was there. The vegetarian sandwich looked puny and unstoppable compared to their fleshy counterparts. The bread looked dry and full. But in this case it looks deceptive. The sandwich was amazing, the flavors hearty, and the bread was delicious. I'd get it back. Also tried the brioche filled with gooey custard. That's good.

This is a lovely upscale bakery with a somewhat limited selection of pies, cakes, and breads. The ciabatta loaf was excellent, and the espresso cake was fresh, bite-sized, and delicious. The chocolate and lemon pies were also noteworthy.
