It looks pretty great, but apparently is postponed until further notice. We wasted part of an evening of our vacation trying to find it, with Yelp and Google both giving the information that it was open with masks required. Interesting market in downtown Monterey. It's not quite a farmer's market any more. There are more food stands than produce stands. Overall, interesting market with a good mix of foods, produce, arts/crafts and street performers.
Always fantastic! Great vegetable produce! Great craft goods!!! Indian food, falafel, hummus, popcorn. ?
A convenient evening outing. The restaurant is open on Tuesdays from 4-8PM and is located near the bay, next to the convention center and a Rite Aid pharmacy. It is a diverse venue featuring food trucks, fresh produce, health and beauty products, as well as crafts and accessories. I believe I have heard music playing in the background at times. Having live music would enhance the experience and encourage me to stay longer.
This market is a great place to bring your family, take a leisurely walk, try different foods, and have a good time. There are also many delicious restaurants surrounding the market that are open during market hours. Make sure to set aside some time on a Tuesday afternoon between 4 and 8 pm to enjoy all that Monterey has to offer!
