Ike's Love Sandwiches - Monterey

Today I decided to order Ike's for lunch and it was a good choice. I got a Reading Rainbow sandwich on sourdough and it was enormous. It's a veggie sandwich with the red pesto sauce and I enjoyed it very much. Next time I would leave the dirty sauce off only because it didn't need it. I did have them add pickles and peppers for zest too. A sprinkle of salt and pepper would take the sandwich to another level. They also have Stubborn soda and a fun variety of drinks if you go to the restaurant. Next time I think I might get one of their sides, like mozzarella sticks.

Had the Going home for Thanksgiving and the Hollywoods SF cheesesteak, both were super tasty! The Dutch Crunch bread is soooo good! Food was ready in under 5 mins and sandwich artists were super friendly and helpful.

Lots of different choices, gluten-free, fun names on sandwiches like the Steve Young ,the 49er , the Al Bundy and more. delicious food

Best sandwich spot, hands down! Wish we found this place sooner!
