"Unfortunately, I should have visited this place earlier during my stay in Monterey. It was my last day, and I definitely recommend this restaurant. I had the baked rice and kung pao beef, and both were delicious. If you’re Asian and craving food from your hometown, you should give it a try. As a Korean, I was completely satisfied with the meal!".
What User doesn't like about Full Moon Mandarin Cuisine:
Food was good. 3 stars for the abysmal amount of chicken and beef found in our meals. We ordered Mongolian beef, but got practically Mongolian mushroom. Our sesame chicken we aren't even sure if it was that, but was good at least, mainly just a salad with chicken in it. Please, add more meat. View all feedback.
The food was served hot and fresh, but the house fried rice contained a lot more rice, carrots, and peas than meat, with only a single shrimp included. It wasn't as filling as I expected. Other menu items might be more satisfying and leave you feeling full. Overall, I found the food to be just average—not anything special to rave about.
I had a fantastic experience here, giving it a perfect 10/10 rating. The service was excellent, and the staff were friendly and very helpful. Our server guided us through the menu and assisted us in choosing the perfect dishes. The prices were reasonable, and the portion sizes were generous. We left the restaurant feeling full and satisfied.
We really need to improve how we package and seal our orders! The egg flower soup was just average, and the chow mein and orange chicken were only about a 5 out of 10. The noodles with chicken also received a 5 out of 10 rating. Let's step it up, everyone!
The food here is incredibly flavorful and reasonably priced. My favorites are the Shrimp Fried Rice and the Wontons in Spicy Sauce. Thank you, Full Moon!
I also highly recommend trying the triple beef, cumin lamb, and any of the spicy dishes like the roasted chicken. The spicy fish and tofu are excellent options for balancing out the heavier meat dishes. This is definitely a place you don't want to miss!
