Chef Lee's Mandarin House - Monterey

Beautiful decor and dining room. Friendly service. Delicious food with good wok-hei. The potstickers have thin packing filled with juicy pig filling. Chef Lee?s roasted rice (combo meat) has the essential wok hei. Walnut shrimp is jumbo size.

The food was hot, fresh and tasty and portions large. Saucy. I had to ask Klinken, who I would never have done in a Chinese restaurant. The service was a little slow, but it was a late dinner, so I will forgive the restaurant to have only one server with commands. While some parts of the restaurant were likely to use some updates (e.g. the toilets were relatively clean, though beaten from years of use), the dining area was good and I appreciated the ceiling art.

Full parking on a Wednesday night you know it must be good! Split Mongolic Beef Chicken Chow my husband. Both were great! Also got the Krabbe-Werker and they were better than MANY Krabbe-Werker/Rangoon I had before. Really, very fast.

First time with Chef Lee. The decor inside is well made with wood and tiles painted ceilings. The staff was friendly and the service was fast. Lunch ordered, Broccoli Beef Rice Plate with Chowmein. The food was well presented on the plate and very well costed. This place is on the return list.

Place was delicious very large portions at reasonable prices. Great for big families are office meetings. Place is big. Lots of parking. Great service. Spacious for wheelchair. Come on. Walking distance from beautiful decent hotels.
