The restaurant has plenty of outdoor seating. The food is satisfying and reasonably priced. While I wouldn't say the food is amazing, it is pretty good. I find myself dining here frequently as it is a comfortable spot. I noticed that they received a "B" grade for health inspection and upon looking into the kitchen, I believe they could improve their cleanliness standards. View all feedback.
What Nicole Li doesn't like about Xī ān Shǒu Gōng Miàn Wen Hui Noodle Hours:
It is important to remember to tip when ordering takeout from this restaurant, as the younger woman working there will criticize you if you do not. They do not allow you to swipe your card without leaving a tip, which may make you feel pressured. The shop is not very clean and the service is lacking. I will not be returning here. I ordered on Fantuan, got the big plate chicken and 2 item noodle. Maybe it tastes better dine in but I have had better at Dolans.
Definitely the best Shannxi food in LA, and one of the top two places in the US (the other one in Phoenix). I ordered the cold noodle with chili oil, pork burger, and the rice noodle soup. The flavor is super authentic for every dish I had. The ingredients are fresh and high-quality. It reminds me of my hometown—shannxi. If you’ve never tried shannxi food, just try what I ordered; that’s a good start. Shannxi food is definitely one of the most under-rated cuisine across the board.
A rare find. Authentic Xi’an dishes. I would say it has the best Xi’an flavors around LA area. I particularly like how the dishes are not too salty (when you don’t crave for a cup of water after the meal, it has the right amount of sodium to my humble opinion) while maintaining the rich Xi’an flavors. The taste just brings back childhood memories and has that homemade feeling. I would also like to mention the generous servings and affordable prices. So many restaurants go down the hill in a blink of an eye, please don’t be one of them, keep it up!
You have to try this place! Their cold noodle with chili oil and pork hamburger are so good and by far the best xi’an cuisine I had in the US! The owner is also very nice! Highly recommend!
