It’s a local bbq joint with good food, a small tight menu, and the price is reasonable. Ordered bbq ribs, mac and cheese, and mixed greens. Plus they have house made deserts, i picked up the banana pudding. I will come back again when i crave bbq and I don't have time to bbq food myself! View all feedback.
What David E doesn't like about Webeq'n:
I have wanted to try their food but every time I've gone to this place, they're closed. The location is in crowded plaza and parking is scarce. Very inconvenient when you go, find parking and walk over to find this place closed. And when you call, their phone just rings. At least place a note on your door that you're out of business or something. Add a voicemail greeting with current status of business. View all feedback.
Today my girlfriend and I tried We Be Q'n for the first time. We were greeted by the owner and his brother, both of which were helpful, patient, and overall a good vibe. We ordered the pork ribs with Mac n cheese and baked beans, along with a Big Mouth Burger with brisket. The pork ribs were extremely flavorful and the sauce was great too. The Mac n cheese and baked beans were also perfect. The burger is as it's name elicits: really big. However, it was still packed with flavor and you're for sure getting your money's worth on it. We look forward to our next visit!
I just finished my first take-out experience here. It is absolutely and without doubt the finest barbecue available anywhere I could imagine in southern california. After a long day of teaching I was hankering for something and I see that Gus's Barbecue in South Pasadena for some reason does not have ribs anymore which is strange. So I did a Google Search and found this tremendous hole in the wall which is owned by the Fantastic Chef Champion, who is himself an incredible gentleman , a gracious man , and a wonderful host. The ribs fall off the bone and the greens are absolutely authentic and the beans are joy and this was simply one of the greatest dinners I ever took home in any takeout in Los angeles.I can't say enough about the quality of the food and the pleasure of the experience of picking up takeout and of the wonderful welcoming Vibe created by Chef Champion himself. The place is a hole in the wall in a neighborhood where you might not expect high quality world-class barbecue, lots of nail salons and other offices sort of tucked behind a conventional shopping mall in Monterey park, but this is the real deal and I intend to order from them regularly and enjoy what is absolutely some of the best food I ever got in Los angeles.

I wanted to give this place a review because I was very satisfied and impressed with the food. The only reason im not giving the 5 stars is because the customer service didn't match the delicious food. It's memorial weekend and I was in the mood for bbq which we don't have many locally. We be q'n came up and it was very close so I decided to give it a try. The combo came with 4 ribs and two sides. I tried the Mac cheese and potato salad both delious homemade style and the meat came right off the bone. The bbq had a nice kick! Would consider them to cater my next event/party.
