Mr. Baguette - Monterey Park

Good, fresh sandwiches that are a little hit and miss with strangely inconsistent amounts of fillings sometimes containing more of one veg than others, in a single order. But still tasty, with good quality baguettes and flavorful meats, especially the lemongrass beef and anything with more than a touch of pate. Full sandwiches can be cut into quarters for sharing.Parking: Huge lot, but is shared with so many other businesses that you sometimes have to circle a bit to find an open space.

I really enjoy eating sandwiches here. The bread is chruncky and a bit hard but it's good. There is some seats available to eat and restrooms.Food: 5/5

Pate Chaude are the best in SGV. Call ahead to make sure they still have some available. If they're sold out, you can call an hour in advance and they'll get some prepped for pick up. Love this spot! Workers are also very friendly and helpful.

Good for reliability. I'm torn about this place. It's easy fast, way better quality and price than banh mi che cali, BUT theres also a lot of great banh mi places in 626 SGV. This place is good if you want reliability. Mayo is a bit more sour in taste compared to other places. They do give large portion but you also pay for the price $8+. For anyone who don't have time to go to a cheaper or better place, this place is a good default.

This place is super close to where I live and have not been here for years, used to be great.So today we stopped by to grab 2 french baguette for beef stew. Came in and 3 people were waiting for their food. None at the order line.I waited to make my order and then 4 more behind me after. I waited and they packed 2 french baguette and gave it to one person that came after me. I waited again, after the 3 that were there before and the 4 that came after me got their order, sandwiches, drinks.....and still nothing....Waited, and waited until no one left before the female employee with the round glasses (who took me order) and one of one lady in the back to even look at my receipt after I went over to ask. Then finally the employee with glass went and packed my order. Came over and said "sorry, computer error. "It 's human error and right away blamed it on the computer. She even took the order herself and I was standing there waiting....come on, how bad can customer service be to mess up on such an easy order....2 freaking french baguette that you just have to go over, put in a bag and hand them to the customer.
