While visiting Madrid to see Chicho Trujillo, the bad-ass revolutionary Cumbia band from Chile, I happened upon this gorgeous cafe. After a quick “Que onda?”, conversation with the owner felt like we had known each other forever. Everything about this place made me want to stay all day. The super smooth coffee, queer photography books, cinnamon rolls, eclectic cozy ambiance, 90s hits playing at the perfect volume, and witty bilingual conversations with the owner make this place more than inviting. It kinda felt like home. Whether you live in the city or you’re just visiting take a minute to stop in and grab a cortado, or cafe con leche, or whatever your favorite caffeinated drink might be, you won’t regret it.
