Ordered food at J&S and noticed this coffee shop next door. I was craving a latte and toddler wanted a juice. Ordered both and banana bread. The inside was clean and inviting. Several people in there working on their laptops. Nice relaxing music. Both of the ladies working there were so nice and welcoming. I ask them if it was okay to eat out from next door o their patio, they were more than okay with it. Needless to... View all feedback.
What Fa Tu doesn't like about Ground Up Coffee:
The hipster atmosphere is as bland as the customer service. They expect a tip for drip coffee to go! The temperature of the coffee was meh, but the taste was alright. The price isn't fair for drip. View all feedback.
The coffee is meh and the parking sucks. If it was my neighborhood coffee shop I'd probs come back but it's not, so I wont.

The highlight was the banana bread from here. And my toddler absolutely loved the mango juice. Would definitely come back here if I’m in the area. Service was top tier.
This little spot is the best coffee I’ve ever had! OMG! The riches flavor the aroma delicious!
Overall: 7/10. This coffee place is pretty good. I would recommend going here if you like good coffee and relaxed vibe. Cappucino: 7/10. Their cappucino is pretty good. Their coffee machine seems to be top-notch. I just wish their coffee was a little more creamy and intense. Just to let you know that my 7/10 is pretty high). I rate Starbucks cappucino 3/10, Blue Bottle cappucino as 8/10, and my own espresso machine cappucino as 9/10 and 10/10 probably doesn't exist in this world.Service: 8/10. Nice guy at the counter. My cappucino was ready swiftly. No wait. I just wish he could smile a bit. However, I respect seriousness and professionalism.Interior: 6/10. Simple. Nice, relaxed vibe. Everything you need is there. Cool mural on their wall. They even have a terrace (facing a super busy street, tho). I like it, but... a little empty inside. Would be nice. Their chairs are basic plastic chairs with a lack of character. I wish they had a bar counter (or a long narrow table) at the center, with bar stools.Prices: 8/10. Just right. Small good cappucino is $4.50. That seems kinda correct price nowadays.Extra point: They have really nice reaxing music inside. Playing The Rolling Stones and Bob Dylan and Etta James is always a big plus. Kudos here.
Delicious!!! The banana oat latte was spectacular!!
