I needed a dozen churros today for my daughter's school spring fling. I called 2 days ago to place my order and was told I could pay for them today when I picked them up. I walk in and the owner is completely clueless about my order and didn't even care to apologize nor to hurry up and get my order ready. The restaurant offers a nice blend of convenience, like a phone deposit or an online win. Overall, it's a great place to relax and enjoy some free time at home.
The food at brot is excellent, but it could benefit from a little more friendliness in the atmosphere.
Aside from this location they also have a mobile bakery in a van playing an old song from old mexican tin tan movie El panadero con El pan . Delicious pan dulce of various kinds and even kinds I 've never seen like my new favorite a homemade sugar donut that is sliced like a bagel and filled with arroz con leche (Mexican rice pudding). Sounds sweet but omg delicious.
Besides there fresh sweet bread baked daily They also got ice cream by the scoop on a cone or a cup...
