We love Katy's Place in downtown Carmel! Local classic ! Definitely try the Calamari Steak and eggs, one of our favorites. You can not go wrong with one of there eggs Benedict or omelets! What Charles Moore doesn't like about Katy's Place:
I ordered a chef salad and was surprised at the low quality with sliced cold cut lunch meats Tired lettuce. My guest ordered the egg white omelet as described on the menu . We were told they were out of egg whites but could order a regular omelette . Don’t good restaurants know how to separate the yolk from an egg to create an egg white omelette? I would give it 5 stars if this was not a CASH ONLY place and had specialty coffee. Their drip coffee is actually pretty good. We had two entrees, one was a lobster omelette and two coffees and the bill was $77 so not exactly cheap. The food was good and the service very friendly. There are plenty of other places in Carmel.
They may be dog friendly but your dog is not aloud to eat there which to me is really stupid when your dog friendly!!!
Great place overall, food was delicious and service was great. very nice people Dietary restrictions: no dairy free coffee creamer
