Antica Trattoria Belletti

We found this Trattoria through google and got our B&B host to book ahead for us. It was about a 30minute drive from where we were staying but we decided to give it a go. Thank goodness we did. The food was all freshly prepared, local ingredients and cooked really well. Excellent flavours and tastes. If we'd been staying closer we'd definitely have gone back for another meal. The staff were helpful and our waiter spoke English which was helpful because the menu was solely in Italian (as expected) although I had translated some of it myself beforehand. Seating was outside which was lovely after a very hot day. There appeared to be a lot of locals eating here also in the middle of the week which says a lot well worth a visit in my opinion.

Definitely off the beaten path, neatly tucked in a tiny village, their few tables are filled with those who know food. The locals are regulars too, so don't be surprised if it's hard to get a table. In the surrounding region you'll find locally grown and milled wheat, fresh cheese, hams, even bottled spring water!

We traveled throughout Italy and I would stack this place up against any place that we ate. The pasta is made fresh and they use local ingredients. We ate there twice and both times it was very good. The tagliattelli with truffles was so good. We also had bruschetta with truffles. The house wine was more than adequate. Don't miss this place if you are in the area.

Do not stop if you think you will find an endless menu and a chaotic environment. few dishes of ancient tradition and some proposals of season cooked with good raw materials. Suppliers are listed in the menu. I love the tortellini in broth and the roast rabbit, great and delicious also the strips with white ragù and truffle. we also tasted the cards with sausage: Well, we always stop because you feel at home and eat well.

We stayed at lunch in this beautiful trattoria where, as soon as you enter, you breathe familiar air that merges with my memories of the past. cozy and rustic, it was all perfect thanks also to camilla that always puts our heart, for me it is like a second house and also timeless, I will definitely return
