I have eaten at probably every sushi restaurant in the West Orange area, and nowhere compares to Nori. Their fish is always tender and flavorful. Many other places I've eaten have very tough fish or put very small pieces in the roll. This has been my go-to sushi restaurant since the start of quarantine and I can't wait to be able to have a sit down meal here!

The service recently has improved and the sushi chefs are doing a great job with presentation and flavors. I had the eel avocado and eel cucumber rolls, which were great. The server had come back to our table throughout refilling our teas, asking if there was anything we needed. The service was prompt and the server, very polite. I am glad the service and quality are back as I remember it, only it's even better now. I'm now referring any

I’ve been traveling to Japan since 2005... read more After moving to West Orange and trying many different sushi restaurants we stumbled across Nori and couldn’t be happier. I’ve been traveling to Japan since 2005 (two to three times per year) and this sushi is on par with some of the many restaurants I’ve eaten at on my many trips. I’d highly recommend Nori to anyone looking for high quality fresh sushi. We can’t wait until we can have a nice sit down meal at this restaurant. We’ll be sure to bring out Asahi as they are BYOB.

The dishes were fairly sized and pric... read more It’s a cozy sushi restaurant on the corner, located in Montclair. My fiancée got a chirashi bowl while i had a salmon don. The dishes were fairly sized and price. It was fresh, delicious. It was BYOB like most places in Montclair. Came here on a Saturday night and it wasnt packed. Reservations weren’t needed. The service was friendly and quick.
