It’s pretty good overall. But inconsistent- some dishes were very good and some quite mediocre. The short rib that we love so much, was so not good... For the price you’re charged it could be a little tastier.
The food was amazing and they take care of you as soon as you walk into the restaurant! I felt like I was dinning in NYC.
This is the best restaurant in Montclair (a town with no shortage of very solid restaurants) and one of the best restaurants I've ever been to. You should try to eat here.
My wife and I dined at Laurel Sage on March 16th, 2019. The food was outstanding and not your typical fare, which we appreciated. The service was attentive and cordial. The owner (who is the boss's wife) was very gracious. We will definitely return and recommend this restaurant to our daughter when she visits her friend in Nutley. Just a heads up: parking is on the street, not in the lot behind the restaurant, as it is residential.
Food and service are always amazing! One of the best restaurents my wife and I go to. I rate it up with Carfe Matisse in Rutherford and Restaurant Nicholas in Red Bank. Not bad company to be in!
