My family and I have visited this restaurant several times, and our overall experience has always been fantastic. For brunch, I always order the crab eggs Benedict—it's simply delightful! I assure you, you won't be disappointed. All the dinner options are absolutely superb, and the quality of the food is excellent. The owner often comes out to greet us and check on our meals, which is a really nice touch.

We were served bread with a delicious herb-garlic butter spread that was divine. For appetizers, we ordered the cheese-stuffed sorullos de maíz and the bacalaitos. They were beautifully presented and tasted even better. My wife enjoyed the shrimp mofongo while I had the Arroz con gandules with pernil. The rice featured smoked ham just like my mom makes it, and each bite reminded me of home. I'm originally from Jersey, but Morovis, Puerto Rico, is in my blood. Many blessings to Cocina Candela; you have a piece of Borinquen for those of us who are far away, like me.
