Great, much needed addition to Montauk?s food scene. Reasonably priced and offers fresh, flavorful dishes! Montauk needs more diverse food options and Tiny Harbor will not let ya down! Vegan options are ample compared to the rest of the town. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Tiny Harbor Cafe:
We dined in for a snack. It just opened but long wait for an order of bao buns and egg roll. I suggest if dining in the don't require payment up front- seems weird and on top of it tipped and then weren't thrilled with the lack of service...maybe they will get a server for summer-hopefully. Great addition to Montauk food options we ordered items to go and picked them up the green noodles, the crab rice and the kale salad all was very delicious Nice staff and order was ready in the time they told us looking forward to trying some other dishes again soon!
My husband and I have been visiting Montauk together since we were freshly in college. We have dairy allergies and my husband has a seafood allergy, which means eating has always been a point of failure for us every time we take the trip out. When we found Tiny Harbor Asian Cafe, we heavily doubted the possibility of top-notch Asian food in Montauk, especially at a reasonable price. I'm so so glad to say that we were dead wrong. We showed up for dinner on the cafe's first day open for the season and left feeling like we discovered the best kept little secret. Upon arriving, the smell of smoked meats immediately excited us, but ultimately we tried none since we filled ourselves on dim sum without realizing (the smoked duck and smoked pork bao were really calling to me, though . Pork and leek dumplings: These were so juicy I almost burned myself. The leek comes through without being overpowering, and the soy/sesame dipping sauce cut the fattiness so well. The wrapper is delightfully chewy and flavorful. They also came with sweet chili sauce, but I recommend putting, if anywhere, on the... ...Egg rolls: shatteringly crisp, mild in flavor but veggie packed. The veggies here are similar to the combo in the mixed vegetable side, but I'm not sure if this changes seasonally (should've asked! . It's a bittersweet reality that every time I get an egg roll from now on, I'll be wishing it was this one. Mixed veg: Similar vegetable combination to what was in the egg roll, but dressed with fresh aromatics, sesame oil, and a hint of Sichuan peppercorn. For folks that are wary of the signa
