We arrived fairly early for our 6:15 reservation and got seated outside. Upon sitting outside there was a couple that was clearly arguing and couldn't keep their voices down. We requested we sit inside where we were able to enjoy the wonderful decor and warmly lit ambiance. The staff, food, and experience were wonderful. Really enjoyed our second visit to the Arbor. Nice selection of craft beer, excellent wines, healthy menu with local fish and meats. The scallops were outstanding, and the roasted chicken was crisp and juicy. Service was top notch, we dined early (6:30 pm) and had a nice quite table.
We had an 8:15 reservation on sa. 09/03/17. just rubbed in time, but for 10 minutes had to wait for a table, although many empty tables. looked at a nice table down, then continued to wait 15 minutes before someone even recognized us or brought us a menu. Finally, a blond woman came by in a hurry and asked if we were ready with our order. no introduction, no offer of a drink order. we asked if there were any specializations and were said no. then we asked what about the beginning of the day? Oh, yeah, she said and told us the court. we ordered our food and a drink. one came by and left some delicious bread, but it was 15 minutes before our not so friendly waitress fell from our drinks. we were already on our appetizers that were delicious (watermelon salad and shrimp cocktail). when my man told waitress that we were unhappy with her service, she said that they were short staff and she also waited for dinge. no excuse. had a really delicious filet mignon (which was well cooked instead of medium as ordered. we didn't dare to send it back because we would never see it again. the chef has made a great work with the moistness and the spice. my guess is it medium when he cooked it and it sat just wait for wait wait wait and cooked more during the rest. the waitress was finally provided with dessert menus, but wait after 20 minutes until she returns to our order, we asked for manager and left without dessert. eating was really good so I would give the place another try, just with another waitress.
The service was not very slow. it took 25 minutes to get our bill. the waiter was never there if you need anything. the brot came with dinner. the muddles came cold instead of hot and the steak was hard and boiled over. the prices they calculate should not have any problems. we will not go back.
Food was very poor. The bouillabaisse was terrible.
Wonderful meal during our Montauk vacation. For the Table appetizers were perfect. All of our entries catch of the day , raw bar, pasta) were delicious and well presented. We were not rushed at all, and each course was well paced. Wine was a bit pricey. Enzo took excellent care of us.
