Delightful lunch on a cool October afternoon. Lovely ambience and scenery from patio seating. Service was extraordinary. Food was delicious. World class lobster roll and rose to pair. Can’t wait to return View all feedback.
What vera vagts doesn't like about Tillie's:
WE had the most horrible experience there. Went for lunch after our Spa appointment. We waited over an hour for a basic turkey sandwich and a smash burger. Our waitress was nowhere to be found. Once we flagged her down, she had nothing but attitude instead of trying to fix the situation. There were 4 other tables seated an hour after we were and were getting their food, while we were still waiting for our food. We ha... View all feedback.
Terrible service. we waited 20 minutes before we decided to ask the maitre d to find our server. at the end of the meal the server disappeared. other tables also wanted to pay and go, he gave us about 30 minutes. we had to show another server to get our back, and again the maitre d had to come and give us our back. eating is really good, but they changed the French bath and it was like high school cafeteria level. that's not the first time that you were bad. it is a surprise as it turns into the night to scarpetta beach that is excellent.
Famous the rest with a gift card. Unfortunately, the waitress could not have been ruder, inconspicuous, rushed us through clear teller, while some still eat, asked if we were ready with the bill 3 times again, while the people eat no offer of another drink, coffee, dessert. the place was practically empty, so not sure why the hurry. had been looking forward to it, it was nice to eat great. the prices are exaggerated, however, so that the personal should be professional. don't go back!
Restaurants in free with a reservation. the we sat in the sun, although we demanded that we be shadowed, because we are very fair and are not used to sitting in the sun. we were a party of two and we were told that the shaded tables were for parties of four. about four shaded tables remained empty throughout our breakfast. my man used his serviette on the back of his neck during his meal. we both were burned as a result. they should have asked us because we were hotel guests and the others were empty anyway. the server was slow and has not often seen us. the food took a long time to get out. eating was good, but the experience was not worth it.
The hotel is located in the gurneys hotel, the environment is beautiful, view of the sea. eating was good, although overpriced, but it is peak season in montauk. we saw a bucking dolphin swimming in the water, which was exciting. very pleasant lunch.
Our waitress literally said she forgot we were there. Ordered poached eggs they came with hollandaise sauce which was clearly broken and made me sick the rest of the day. Lovely view but the food this time was consistently terrible.
