What User doesn't like about Swallow East:
Drove to location since on vacation were not that familiar with area in the fog; so a little stressed and looking for a great meal and chance to unwind. Imagine how we felt upon arriving only to find ??? We did have a confirmed reservation??? that the place wasn't open!! This of course resulted in us having to scramble to find a suitable place to eat while still driving in very hazardous conditions. Thanks Swallow Ea... View all feedback. We got to Swallow East around on a Sunday of Memorial Day weekend....it was Raggae night. We were seated outside as requested. The food was very good. We had a lot of apps to share which were all very good with the exception of the tacos...which were bland. My biggest issue with this place was the crowds...it was crazy packed with year olds. read moreSwallow East, located in Montauk, offers a lovely atmosphere but mixed reviews on food and service. Some diners had excellent meals and enjoyed the live music, while others found the food overpriced and not up to par. The seafood dishes received praise, while some appetizers fell short. The restaurant can be crowded, especially on special event nights, which may not be ideal for those seeking a more relaxed vibe. Overall, Swallow East seems to be hit or miss, with some patrons planning to return while others opt for alternative dining options in the area.
