Nothing like a cozy ride to Montauk. We always have to go to Shagwong for a quick bite and drink on our way home. We had a few margaritas and baked shells casino View all feedback.

Eating is pretty good, but unfortunately the waiting time was really bad. It wasn't full. The waitress didn't check us out. We waited well 50 minutes after the order and the food came only after we had asked twice. The staff wasn't so friendly. Almost angry we came in? View all feedback.
We visited Shagwong many years ago and decided to return during our recent trip to Montauk. It's one of the few restaurants in the area that stays open year-round. The bar area is spacious, and the dining room has a casual, rustic vibe. Our server was friendly and attentive, offering great meal suggestions. We loved the wings, baked mac and cheese, and fried calamari. The prime rib sandwich was fantastic, served with a dipping sauce. The fish and chips were fresh and hearty, accompanied by a generous portion of French fries.
Nice local bar. The zucchini fries are plentiful and have a good spicy sauce. The Clams Casino is interesting like Oysters Rockefeller.
The most absolutely worse food anywhere! They get transient business so they don’t care about repeat business!
Been around forever, always a fan favorite, it's a good meal in a nostalgic place. Been cleaned up since I started going there as a little kid
Lobster roll was great, blackend fish sandwiches were great and the cheeseburger with the works was.cooked perfect.
