We discovered it on Yelp while searching for fresh oysters, and it certainly met our expectations. The shop is situated behind the owner’s home, and they proudly serve only the freshest seafood from Long Island, including mussels, scallops, oysters, and their renowned lobster pie. Don’t miss out on their delicious chocolate mousse cake and other seafood sides. The woman who runs the place was incredibly friendly and helpful, and she shared that her husband is a 14th-generation bayman who catches the seafood they sell. I highly recommend this spot if you’re in the mood for fresh seafood to take home. Please note they are cash-only and have parking available in their driveway.

We enjoyed several pounds of fluke and bass that were caught fresh that morning, prepared beautifully by the hosts of Bennett Shellfish. It was absolutely remarkable. The next day, we returned for lobster, also caught the same morning and skillfully cooked by the lovely hosts. It was the best lobster I’ve ever had. We will definitely be back whenever we're in the area. I highly recommend this place!
