We were lucky to be staying in a farmhouse next door to this great Agriturismo and ate there twice during our holiday. It's a real Italian experience with mama Maria doing the cooking and on quieter times, serving. For around 24 euro's you get about 15 different antipasti to share, then a pasta dish of your choice, selection of meats then a mix of cakes and biscuits to finish, this also includes wine, water and Grappa... What JUBOMAN doesn't like about Agriturismo Due Pini:
The 9 of us were fed and watered amply for next to no money but we realised this type of meal was not for us. We were bombarded with so much antipasto that half the food was taken away. Pasta Secondi was in a very basic tomato ragu sauce. We were absolutely stuffed by the end and had fabulous service from the “Nonna” and her Grandson (I’m guessing) but we tended to go for menu options after this meal. Several carafes... Wonderful people, delicious food, unique place! !
Fresh and high quality products. You eat so much and you spend the right. . difficult to find better! I'll come back.
I named the review after eating almost until I was sick... Mrs. Maria brought everything... more, and all so good that you could not fail and continue to eat: a roundup of amazing appetizers with typical dishes of the Marche tradition, those we loved as children but rarely tasted with that intense goto that you can find at the two pines. among the cults I put the knife, the polenta with mushrooms, the eggplant, the sausage served whole, but also the mixed grill (my mother that taste) and the more it has put it. maria is the number has spread with the selection of desserts. euro account! I add no more
Nice farm run by the family excellently, the service is good are kind and move quickly we ate well but we had to stop to the appetizers because there was no more space, and this is spied out because they propose good first and second, only in the end they told us that if not specified in the booking phase you will part default with the roundup of appetizers, it will be for the next time.
This was a return visit having stayed in the holiday villa next door some 4 years ago. We travelled 1 1/2 hours to eat here having had such wonderful food 4 years previously. We were greeted by my now adopted Italian mother Maria who looked not a day older. Your meal here always starts with the antipasti, anywhere between 10 15 different dishes depending on what Maria has chosen to cook. We had, pecorino, prosciutto, salami, rosemary flat bread, tomato pizza, 2 aubergine dishes, Ascoli stuffed olives, carpaccio, salami and bean dish, cheese fritters. Apologies if I missed something out. We then had the choice of 3 pasta dishes and opted for the best ravioli in all of Marche, pumpkin ravioli followed by another plate that appeared, chicken ravioli. Our primo was a dish of six yes six lamb chops al a brace. We declined desert as we feared we may not get up out our seats. Included in The ridiculously low price of 25 euros a head is a carafe of house wine. What you won’t get here is fine dining but what you do get is a country mile better than any fine dining experience. You get Italian cooking at its very best.
