Excellent in everything from the food to the courtesy of the waitress. The value for money is also excellent. Compliments

Family-run restaurant where you can taste delicious local specialties such as fried foods, first courses with mushrooms and truffles and grilled meat, I've been there several times and it's always a confirmation. Very warm and friendly service, quiet environment and tables in the garden in a relaxing atmosphere among plants and wooden sculptures, also a small playground for children, worth a stop when you are in the area

The view in the surroundings is OK. It is on the hills near Ascoli Piceno. The restaurant itself has lots of spaces to sit. So many that one immediately gets the feeling that they usually cater to very large groups, never a good sign. Inside (we were early) 3 of the many tables were reserved, as we could tell from the bread rolls that had been put on those tables as placeholders. Well, probably they should have stayed just that, because eating them was quite a challenge: the bread was so stale you could have hurt somebody throwing it at them. We ordered antipasti and first course and luckily promised we would consider second course later. Antipasti were some slices of prosciutto, coppa and salame. Nothing special, not what you expect in a place hidden away in the Monti Sibillini, a wonderful area that calls for truffel, porcini, wild boar, homemade salsiccia and such. And then yes...try eating those antipasti (that might have come, just as, well, from the local supermarket) with bread so stale you would break your teeth on it... First course: pasta with porcini. Tasteless, hardly any mushroom, slippery and uninspiring condiment. The kind of pasta e porcini you would expect in a youth hostel in a third world country that recently filed for bankruptcy. Not 20 minutes from Ascoli Piceno. As you can imagine, we decided to have our second course in another place. We paid the bill and left. The waitress, who had served us correctly but without enthusiasm or interest, was not surprised. It almost seemed she knew this would happen. Indeed, we were sure she would have agreed that what she served us was far below standard. Strange place. Place to avoid.

I have been eating here for years. Great food and atmosphere at very good prices Real Italy. Don't expect a menu in English. Take your time. You'll like it!
