La Bibioteca - Monsampietro morico

Due to Covid we had to have a delivery of lunch for a special Sunday with friends. The amazing Thai feast came on time and all in fabulous order. The food was all delicious and really well prepared. We had 2 meat eaters, one vegetarian and one vegan and everyone was really pleased with the banquet. There was loads of food enough for another small meal the next day. We look forward to returning to the restaurant soon. We have eaten there many times and the service and food is always spot on.

Sheer impossible to find on a dark September evening, but ever so worth it! Every veg from their own bio production, combined with great cooking skills, makes for a truly inspiring and wonderful evening. Charming welcome and great food and atmosphere, what else would you want for a perfectly lovely and tasteful evening? Find it! Go there. You will not be disappointed.

Bravo Filipe, Sophie, Michaela !! This team not only has a restaurant: they have a concept of what food (and service) could and should be. Dishes prepared mainly of own cultivated vegetables( also pork and poultry) in an utmost creative manner at a budget price. Without exaggerating i can state that some of the food I have eaten at this place is at Michelin star level. When you have the opportunity to eat (mostly in winter time) the feijoada: an absolute marvel! This restaurant is a welcome surprise in a region that is proud, but also stuck!!, in its local cuisine.

When I decide if I am going to make the 8 drive from Munich to our home in Montottone, all I have to do is remind myself I can enjoy a meal at La Bibioteca. Today's meal was a delight. One meat meal and one veggie always offered. Great setting.

We hired Sophie, the chef and owner of La Bibioteca, to cook dinners at our rental villa in Tuscany for three nights during our stay. The food was absolutely amazing and not having to think about dinner made for a truly relaxing vacation. She made everything from scratch each day in our kitchen for our large group and cleaned up impeccably afterwards. She was very professional and also great to work with in advance to figure out a menu that would work for everyone's food allergies, preferences, etc. I can't recommend her enough. My only regret is that we did not have a chance to eat at the restaurant as well!
