Gateway Grill - Monroeville
Gateway Grill
Description
After a series of mixed reviews, it seems like this restaurant has its ups and downs. While some customers experienced rude managers, slow service, and unappetizing ribs, others raved about the delicious Italian wedding soup and huge salads. The service was praised when it was good, with friendly waitresses and quick food delivery. The pizza and salads were particularly highlighted as delicious options. Vegetarian options are available and the prices are reasonable. Overall, it seems like this restaurant could be hit or miss depending on the day and who is serving you, but if you're in the mood for good pizza or salads, it might be worth a visit.

The salads and pizza were very delicious. The price was very reasonable. We were in from out of town to visit my daughter and boyfriend. We will definitely be eating here again. Highly recommended. Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Pizza
A terrible waitress can really ruin a visit. She saw there were flies around our drinks. When I let her know that one was in my drink, she was annoyed. She offered me a new glass, but the issue wasn’t with the glass..so how would that help? She finally said “do you want me to bring you a new beer?” (super annoyed, as if it’s my fault). I said yes please. She brings me a beer 1/4 full, which is less than I had before. I’m positive she poured my beer into a glass and dumped out the bug. Gross. I’ll make sure to never have her as a server again. She sucks terribly at her job. Service: Dine in Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2
