My wife and I were visiting family and decided to order takeout. Even though I forgot to include something in my order, the owners were incredibly accommodating, saying, “We treat others the way we would want to be treated.” The food was amazing, the prices were great, and the kindness was limitless. I really wish I had taken pictures of our well-prepared takeout, but our two sons dug in so quickly! “Dad, what’s that smell?” It was a truly delicious cheesesteak.
Just like it was back at the OG site on west lib. Still tastes the same, delicious. I miss carhops
The Reuben sandwich was absolutely delicious and surprisingly large—bigger than my head! I also tried the Philly cheesesteak and was very satisfied, perhaps even too satisfied, as the Reuben put me in a food coma. The portions are huge, even the fries. You absolutely have to visit this place! Food rating: 5/5.
Wheelchair accessibility: The space is roomy and there’s a ramp on the sidewalk for easy wheelchair access.
The atmosphere, aroma, and flavors were absolutely fantastic! The sub was incredibly fresh, along with all the ingredients. I ordered the Super Sport and it definitely lived up to my expectations. I also ordered a coupe, thinking it would be small, but it was about the size of a regular whole sub in my opinion. I'm really glad I discovered this place for lunch! Food: 5/5
