Description
Tucked into a pleasant countryside setting, this budget-friendly sandwich shop serves fresh, made-to-order sandwiches with personable staff who accommodate picky eaters and group orders. Many praise the welcoming atmosphere and careful customization, yet experiences vary: sandwiches can arrive soggy or messily assembled, service is sometimes slow, and staff attitude and inventory consistency are inconsistent. A charming, affordable lunch spot with warm moments and occasional service and quality hiccups.

Messed up our sandwiches twice in a row. The employee behind the counter asked what we would like. So my 12 year old ordered a foot-long. The employee was distracted and he said ?I?m sorry what did you say?, so I spoke up and said a foot-long. Immediatelyafter that I was busy helping my eight-year-old order his sandwich. After everything was done and over and we just paid, I lookat my older kid and said ?didn?t you get a foot long?? He didn?t speak up when he saw the 6inch bread because this is the agewere we are actively trying to get our kids to order for themselves. So we went back to the register and told them whathappened. They voided my payment for $16 and then had me re-pay for $21 even though they messed up. THEN, they made the wrongsandwich for the extra 6inch. My kid wasn?t impressed with Baja chipotle on his meatball sub. I wouldn?t even be making a reviewif they wouldn?t have messed up my food the last time we came in. I know mistakes happen but I?ve lived here for almost 10 yearsnow and they just went through a remodel. I hope it smooths out since this is ONE out of THREE places to eat in our small town.
The sandwiches were made in a rather chaotic manner, with sauces overflowing and making a mess everywhere. The staff appeared to have an unprofessional attitude while preparing my order. When I asked about the cookies, which weren’t visible in the display case, I was met with a curt “I don’t know,” even though the cookies were clearly right behind the counter. Eventually, someone came from the back, retrieved my cookies, and completed my transaction.
I waited 30 minutes to order two sandwiches, but when I finally had the chance to place my order, they were out of what I wanted. There were only two people in front of me in line. Overall, I was not impressed at all!
I waited nearly 30 minutes for a veggie sub, and when it was finally ready, they wrapped it up and then told me they would be making sandwiches for other customers behind me. This left me waiting to pay. The woman managing the place seemed quite stressed.
