This place is run pretty well in my opinion. I know the workers might have their own opinions, but from a customer standpoint things usually go pretty well according to plan and they handle their business well. The food is always fresh, literally the only issue have ever had in the whole history of eating there has been one time I had bread that was too hard. However it was a French dip so a dip in the gravy took car... View all feedback.
What Ssentoh L doesn't like about Mcalister's Deli:
chef salad was horrible. never again will i purchase. was just thrown together big chucks of meat not cut all the way. no cucumbers and the tomatoes was soggy. nasty taste. The new yorker was great. View all feedback.
I wish they would add more tomatoes and meat to the chef salad and use less greens. It would also be great to have boiled eggs included in the salad.
The chef salad was quite disappointing. I won’t be ordering it again. It seemed haphazardly assembled, with large chunks of meat that weren't properly cut. There were no cucumbers, and the tomatoes were soggy, giving it an unpleasant taste. On a positive note, the New Yorker was excellent.
The Spud Max was delicious and packed with flavor. It could have been even better had they included the butter and sour cream I requested! However, the salad was quite disappointing; it consisted of soggy iceberg lettuce with brown edges, no croutons, and just a few slices of cucumber. There was absolutely nothing in that salad worth the $8 price tag. I had planned to eat it for lunch the next day, but it was inedible. Additionally, they forgot to include a straw with the iced tea. I've never experienced such a letdown at McAlister's before.
They always forget my pickle. The food is always hot and fresh though!
The chicken ceasar salad had a seafood flavor to it. I think it turned bad.
