Restaurant was very dirty. Food on floor. Chicken tenders were burnt. From entering restaurant to time we got our bill was 2 hours. This is not acceptable when traveling.
From 8 22 they have a quantity of cone and yellow adhesive tape. I thought it was closed! had to ask the hired outside if he was open. no obvious handicap parking space. excellent food and service.
These details are important so bear with me: we were at Cracker Barrel for a birthday celebration. We had a hero of 6 adults and two children. Four of us arrived at the same time and were seated while four were still on the way.Enter Jesse.Jesse immediately greeted us, introduced herself and had menus in our hands. She took out drink orders and within minutes not only had our drinks but brought two of everything. I have NEVER eaten at cracker barrel where I haven't had to ask for a refill at least once. Jesse never let us run out of drinks. That alone gets her five starsBecause of time constraints the four people who were present needed to order. Jesse took our order WITHOUT using a tablet. She had it all down by memory and when our food came out it was all correct.Then the next four showed up. As our food was being handed Jesse was also taking the new orders by memory. They all came out without a hitch.Despite having other customers Jesse made us feel as though we were the only people in her care.We will definitely be requesting Jesse each time we return.

I took my family out for an early Valentine's dinner, looking forward to a special evening together. I’m generally easy to please and always leave generous tips, so I was hopeful for a nice experience. Our waitress took our orders and everything seemed fine at first. However, only 4 out of the 9 of us received their meals. We were assured that the rest of the food would arrive shortly. After waiting 35 minutes with still no food, we were frustrated. The whole point of this outing was to enjoy dinner together as a family, especially since it's a rare treat to gather with my kids and grandkids. As time passed and the others finished their meals, we continued to wait. Unfortunately, my daughter had to leave for work, so we asked for the remaining meals to be packed for takeout. Another 15 minutes went by with no food. Despite politely speaking to the manager about our situation, I was met with rude looks and harsh responses regarding the delay. Eventually, we decided it was time to leave, as the experience had been incredibly disappointing. Our waitress finally approached our table, slamming down the meals for those of us who still hadn’t eaten, and even used inappropriate language without acknowledging us or apologizing for the mistakes. When we got to the counter to pay, the manager gave us a $20 discount, but was still impolite. To make matters worse, we discovered that the takeout food contained raw chicken. I left the restaurant in tears, feeling utterly disrespected, especially as a disabled person. I hadn’t raised my voice, but I did express my concerns, so they were fully aware of how poor the dining experience was. I used to love Cracker Barrel, but after this experience, I won't be dining there again. It’s shocking how they treated someone with a disability and their family. The only staff member who showed any kindness was the busser, who recognized how poorly we had been treated. I will be contacting corporate about this issue!
