I used to go here when I was a teenager. I now live in Arlington, and I'm 60 years old. I still make the trip to Monroe just to eat there! This place has consistently had the best pizza in the world!!!! View all feedback.

We came to Monroe to get our truck at Smileys and while we were in the waiting room, we met a very friendly place that recommended Jenos for a good meal. We decided to try it and I am so happy that we!! Prices were reasonable, servings were huge and delicious! My husband got the baked spaghetti with meatballs and I got the replacement rib in baked spaghetti because it fascinated me. The rib was super delicate and fled apart in the shell, it was boneless, but I didn't even fight if there was a bone in it as it was amazing! They only take cash, as others have already pointed out, what is good. They had marked it clearly on the window. When we get back to town, we'll eat here again!!
Perfect small mother and pop shop from the 70s. Authentic. Little town. Big spoon. Mom and Pop. American Italian If this is even one thing, I do it really well. Who would have thought of spare ribs on spaghetti. They did.
Last update: Still very good. In business since 1970, and not much has changed. 70s style Italian / Pizza joint. Only cash. Food is typical of time, and very well done. Prices rock so that this one of the best values out there. Old review: planned on another restaurant that was not open this evening. Well found. Remember the 70s Italian places we always had. Only cash (I missed the sign, but we did it). Just the reason it doesn't get 5 stars is because of the cash inconvenience. When they change that, it will take up most people. Friendly service, quiet enough for normal table conversation, food was hot and very tasty. The pizza was a beautiful balance of aromas and wonderful smells, The Pasta/Sausage dish was great. Wife loved her sandwich. Appropriate prices too. Pizza was going because our other stuff was so good.
I met a friend here to get breakfast. We both have the basics eggs with sausage patty and hash brown, coffee. It was a simple and quite decent breakfast; the sausage patty was really big! The service was friendly and attentive, without being overlaid. They're just cash, which is a little inconvenience. I'm going back.
Super yummy toasted sandwiches but old school service without a smile. Worth a try if you've never been there. The bar is pretty cool and straight outta the 70s. Definitely check it out!
