Jud's - Monroe
Jud's
Description
Jud's, a charming family-owned diner, has become a beloved spot for its comforting country cooking and warm service. While the friendly staff and inviting atmosphere shine, the culinary experience can be hit or miss. Breakfast options, especially the omelets and biscuits, receive rave reviews, while lunch and dinner may fall short in consistency. Desserts, particularly on Sundays, often run out early, leaving limited choices. Despite some disappointing dishes and portion sizes, loyal patrons appreciate the attentive service and welcoming vibe, making it a valued stop for many in the community seeking hearty meals and a homey feel.

Great food and good service. I love cooking at home. I'm going back. All young lady is just so sweet and happy all the time. It's so hard to make your thoughts what to eat. From a salad to a hot, good or great meal. Tea is good, love there ice cream. Also the sweet her service, it so great. I'm home and thinking about it, I can eat a big salad now, or a nice meal.
Local mom and pop diner where it seems the locals like to come hang out for breakfast. The place was a little dated and could use some freshing up, it was FREEZING cold inside. Food was good, service was friendly. Husband had pancakes, I had scrambled eggs and hashbrowns.
I've eaten in this restaurant since I was a kid, good 35 years. I moved away and visited it when I come back to see family. The quality of food is very good if you are looking for a good cooking home. The portion sizes are large and fillable. The staff is pleased to see you and very attentive to your needs. Very recommended!
We haven't visited Jud's for years. The food was fresh and delicious with plenty of portions. The staff was attentive and polite. Will definitely be back soon.
After we shot our vaccine this morning, my wife and I decided to treat ourselves to a nice breakfast. We don't live around Monroe, so we had to find something. Jud came up with high marks, and it looked like the place we like. A local diner who's been there for a long time. It didn't disappoint! You have a fairly large selection of foods, and the prices are very reasonable. We have some basics. My wife had 3 pancakes and bacon, and I had 3 French toast with bacon. At $4.99 each, it's a lot. Both meals were perfect, and the waiting staff was all friendly and attentive. They have been there since 1952, so they obviously know how they keep their customers happy. I would recommend Jud's for everyone in the Monroe region. Next time we're back.
