Nice restaurant on the square. Market day when we went so quite busy. Worth booking a table on busy days.

Stopped here for lunch on a recent visit to the area. Monpazier is a stunningly beautiful town and we were thrilled to find this lovely spot for outdoor dining, under a well shaded pergola. Food was excellent (we both opted for the Gourmand Salad), service was first class, and the location was magical. We hope to return some time very soon.

Charming local restaurant with friendly service and a nice atmosphere on the terrace. Typical SW France menus and reasonable selection of wines and cocktails. We had a very pleasant dinner.

We had a birthday lunch here. It was a chilly day and we were pleasantly surprised to be next to the log burner. I thought it might be too hot, but on the contrary, it was cold. The veranda doors adjacent to us didn't close properly, with a large gap visible at the top. At the other end of the room, there was a diner sitting with his coat on. There were two menu deals and à la carte, but basically the same was on offer, but more expensively. I had a soup to start, which was lukewarm, but tasted good. My main was a faux filet which was gristly, but again, once the gristle was cut from the meat tasted nice. The chips served with it were very thin, overcooked and soft, in my opinion. There were no vegetables or salad served. My wife had fish, which she said was very nice. Others at the table had maigret which looked good. My dessert was a pear clafouti which was nice. The coffee served afterwards was lukewarm. I don't think it's difficult to serve food and drinks on warm plates. Maybe it was due to it being a cold day, but they were limited to only thirty diners. In short, the selection could have been greater. The restaurant could have been warmer. Service was good. We would eat there again, but it would have to be warmer.
