Stopped here for lunch on a recent visit to the area. Monpazier is a stunningly beautiful town and we were thrilled to find this lovely spot for outdoor dining, under a well shaded pergola. Food was excellent (we both opted for the Gourmand Salad), service was first class, and the location was magical. We hope to return some time very soon. View all feedback.
What Hugues Diallo doesn't like about Bistrot 2:
We stopped at Bistro 2 for a light lunch. The staff were friendly if perhaps rather overworked for the number of people in the restaurant. Environment was unfortunately compromised by the presence of several very noisy young children. Food was decent though a little limited in scope. Wine ok but a little pricey given that it was locally produced. This is an ok place for a meal but there are perhaps better options wit... View all feedback.
Charming local restaurant with friendly service and a nice atmosphere on the terrace. Typical SW France menus and reasonable selection of wines and cocktails. We had a very pleasant dinner.
Lunch was fantastic. Stephane was very welcoming. We all enjoyed the menu of the day. Goat cheese starter and even found me some gluten free bread.
My wife and I turned up without a reservation on a Monday in October and had a delicious mealShe had fish on squid risotto.
Too early for dinner at Éléonore, the staff there referred us to Bistrot 2, which is apparently affiliated.
Decent food. Steak particularly good. OK salads - nothing special. Service very slow. Children's menu came with very (very) small portion of fish (hake) - it looked like they had dropped one and cut the other in half... But they did at least cook another portion for our boys to share. As per the title - definitely a tourist place...
