We were promised a table within 10 minutes, we ended up waiting for 40 mins (they gave us a free glass of cheap rose wine in the meantime). Once ordered the food, it took them 20 mins to realize they didn’t have any more salmon so we changed one of the mains. The food arrived after another 25 mins. The quality of the food was not good at all (considering we were all Italians we were not impressed at all by quality and portions size) and in the end to have the bill we had to ask three times and ended up waiting for another 20 mins. All of this accompanied by the male waiter who was trying to be funny but resulted in being inappropriate. The location was nice but the service was rubbish. All in all, I would never come back to this place, the food was sh*t typical tourist trap AVOID please
We fell in love with this restaurant from the first sight. The terrace is located on a square with the view to the sea, castle and life band that was playing classic rock songs from 10 pm. The service in a restaurant is friendly and very good. The owners of Vinicolo pay attention to all guests and help to make the dinner unforgettable. The food was really good: beef steak was soft and melting, octopus was cooked very well too. We had an aperitif at another place, so we just ordered the main course. Also, we expected the higher price for such an amazing meal, but we just payed 30 euros for soft drinks, two glasses of wine and two the most expensive main courses. Thank u for our delicious dinner in wonderful Monopoli!
The typical salad Cialledda and the poke dish were delicious. It's a good place to spend the night when you're with non-vegans.
Very small vegan bowl, as for children not worth 8 euros
Nasty, sticky menu, no octopus to order at 2 pm, tables so close to each other on the terasse, that you can barely move, no alcohol in pina colada (not virgin)
