The Eldorado
Description
The Eldorado offers a vibrant atmosphere ideal for indulging in wings, burgers, and drinks, particularly on Saturdays for their popular pappets. While some patrons rave about the warm service and welcoming staff, others have expressed disappointment regarding inconsistent food quality and slow service. Issues such as incorrect orders, lack of condiments, and inadequate cleanliness have dampened the experience for a few. Despite these mixed reviews, many agree that with the right timing and offerings, this establishment can provide a delightful dining experience, making it a local favorite for those seeking hearty fare and a friendly ambiance.

As a Connecticut native who moved to Pennsylvania 2 ½ years ago, visiting The Eldorado was an incredible experience. The staff and community here are friendly and welcoming. Katie, Emily, Laura, Brooke, and Victoria are the best bartenders/customers I have ever encountered. They made me feel like I was at home even though I was away from home, and I am thankful to have met them. Keep up the great work, God bless, and much love!
If you're looking for a fantastic spot to enjoy wings, fries, burgers, drinks, and play pool with friends, then look no further than the Eldorado bar. The service is top-notch, and they will inform you if your food will take some time. While the wait may be typical, it is definitely worth it.
I have been waiting at this restaurant for 40 minutes. As soon as I arrived, I ordered a salad and a burger with fries. It took 40 minutes for me to finally receive my salad after having to speak up about the slow service. There are only 15 people here and not everyone is eating. The last time I visited, the service was not like this. I have just received my salad; I can only imagine how long it will take for my burger and fries. Disappointing.
Today I visited this restaurant and ordered a dozen buffalo wings, 6 garlic Parmesan wings, hot pepper cheese balls, fresh cut fries, and a Yuengling beer. Unfortunately, the beer was warm and foamy, indicating that the keg room temperature may be too high. The fries and hot pepper cheese balls were decent, but the wings were a different story. They were lightly coated in Buffalo sauce, but upon closer inspection, I found little hairs on all 16 wings, as well as three long feathers. It was clear that the wings had not been properly cleaned or prepared before cooking. When I informed the waitress about the issue, she dismissed it as normal and advised me to pluck off the hairs myself. This was unacceptable to me, as it would have required removing all the skin, breading, and sauce, essentially ruining the wings. The restaurant refused to compensate us for the wings, so I have no plans to return and will be sharing my negative experience with others. Additionally, there was confusion about the price of domestic beers, with a sign advertising them for $3 on a chalkboard and $4.25 behind the bar. When questioned, the waitress claimed the $3 price was outdated and they had not updated it. This lack of attention to detail and misleading advertising added to the overall disappointing experience.
