Skirrid Mountain Inn - Monmouthshire

We had an excellent time here .rm heard a few unexplained bumps and bumps and even tho heating was on me was cold .We went early morning for a smoke .and saw flickering lights in damen loos and had ahead. used in this night and worked perfectly. We had the pleasure to explore the pub by ourselves, which was stubbornly creepy and glasses at the same time only with a flashlight. the pub is saponified in history and is untouched and is not like the (jamaica inn) commercial that was ruined by this .i dont get how folk can mistake this great pub . the eating was delicious. breakfast included in rm price was pukka its easy as a spooky pub should

Visited skirrid mountain inn and stayed there alone at two consecutive nights. very frightening, belonged door that was consistent and sounded like the end of a legal clerk rod! also belonged an honorary dress in my apartment, room number . open, the host, was excellent as all the coworkers. breakfast delicious and nutritious. Visited the skirrid mountain inn and received a warm welcome from the staff. my friend, who has mobility restrictions, was happy with a suitable table and helpful advice. we had lunch and a pint that was wonderful, the whole food was freshly prepared and... quick warm. well worth a visit and we will go again!

Nice welcome and great beer, but eating was very bad. school style overcooked caries, lots of kartoffels and greasy gravure. apfelkuchen was frozen in the middle. we left.

Please see my review of our overnight stay. Certainly I'd recommend this as a great pub and overnight stop to include dinner and breakfast.
