If there had not been this excellent foie gras intake, this more than average meal would have earned a less star. Butcher piece missing tenderness, trout fillet disappointing lobster sauce. Only the staff met our expectations. Too bad. View all feedback.

We had a good time at the Restaurant du Lac. The dishes are hearty and we have enjoyed, very good value for money. The only dish is lighting, indeed in the corner of the room we felt in the darkness.
We waited at the door as indicated longer than expected. However, once noticed, we received a warm welcome. The menu wasn't great, but there was for everyone in our group. The food took some time to arrive, but the restaurant was busy. The meal was very tasty and there was more than enough. It was cheap, but I thought the drinks were almost as much as the meal itself. The only thing that affected the meal was that the staff felt a very strong smoke, which, as a non-manager, was a little disgusting. We haven't eaten in the restaurant since the new owners took over, but they took a good start.
