We absolutely adore this little gem of the restaurant that is L’effet Maison. The quality and presentation of the food is of the highest quality, generally sourced locally or handpicked from nearby regions. The enthusiasm and clear love of what they do here is also ever so present in their customer service, making you feel welcomed and almost part of the family. This restaurant only seats up to 20 people, by their own choice, as it is a small family run business, so booking ahead is highly advisable. We can’t recommend it enough, and are already looking forward to our next time here. Thank you again L’effet Maison for the truly special culinary experience! A delight from start to finish! Estelle Gilles offer a slate adapted to the seasons and their desires to delight us. The dishes are prepared with local, quality products. Top-notch service (Estelle takes great care), a wine list that matches the plate (and budgets), a comfortable and friendly room (coming at the end of October, we did not have the pleasure of enjoying the shaded terrace of the sunny Place des Arcades) A highly recommended step, a recommended hook! The restaurant located under the arcades is full of charm, we love the decoration inside with the photos of the producers! It's warm, friendly. A superb welcome from our hostess, she supported us in our choices, described the origin of the products wonderfully and made our mouths water! The service is fluid and adapted to each customer, we appreciate it. Congratulations to the chef who concocts local, seasonal dishes with a touch of originality, very well presented and above all very good dishes, we had a great time! Deserves all the accolades it gets on Tripadvisor. A superb three course meal the onion tart was amazing even better than the foie gras starter which is saying something. All 3 main courses were superb fish, beef and rabbit we each went for one and tried the others all superb the rabbit stood out. And the desserts were excellent I preferred the chocolate , pistachio, cherry dessert to the apricot tartlet but both were good. Kir Royale aperitif was one of the best and the red wine was lovely you won’t go wrong here. Highly recommend
While visiting vegetarian friends who live part time in Monflanquin we suggested we take them to L’Effet for dinner on our last night in France. What a find!!!! The staff were amazing, so friendly and so helpful explaining the menu to us in detail . They were able to adjust choices for our vegetarian friends without any problems. The food and presentations were exceptional. This restaurant will definitely be high on our list of places to eat when in France on our next visit.
What a lovely restaurant, great staff and very friendly owners. All fresh local products and home cooking. Great wines and a wonderful terrace for dining al fresco.
Wow….what an amazing place. From start to finish the service and food were impeccable. We were recommended this restaurant by our accommodation host and it did not disappoint. Local, fresh produce…expertly/artistically put together to create, course after course of mouth watering and delicious dishes. We can not wait to visit this gem of Monflanquin again soon.
This is with a solid margin the best restaurant in Monflanquin! The customers can choose between three starters/ main courses and desserts, and the vegetarian among us loved the veggie meal. Great service!

I have lunch at the medieval festivals of Monflanquin 2022. There was a medieval menu with a veal galimafrée and a blood plum pie. Both dishes were very well cooked, very copied and they had a lot of taste. I was served quickly and the waitress was very pleasant. The price quality report is good. The restaurant is well placed, overlooking the central square of the bastide. Restaurant to be tested.
A restaurant that marks a stay in Monflanquin, charming Bastide, beautiful surprise under its arcades, refined and succulent dishes, a nice service, a big thank you to the whole team!

The dishes are just divine, prepared with quality local products. A real treat for dessert. Special mention to the child menu worthy of this name. The location is also on top and the lovely staff. Restaurant highly recommended!

A warm and welcome place, the plates are tasty and worked with fresh and local products. The Maison effect is a restaurant not to be missed on Monflanquin!

Very refined dishes prepared for the most part with regional products! A treat for eyes and taste buds! Enjoying it in the entrance is wonderful! The dessert Safran Abricot, a nice surprise. I advise!
