Wow, this was a dining experience to remember. The food and wine were superb but the personal touch from Alexandra and Gianluca made the evening memorable. The food was focussed on local Ligurian dishes and was as good as we've had in Italy. We truly enjoyed this meal.
This special place is about more than a meal...its also a great experience with incredible hosts who share passion for the region, the history of local food and wine, they want you to be happy and feel at home, to enjoy everything you eat and drink. The wine tasting we did one night was exceptional and has us all excited about the local varieties, the food rich and delicious. This is a homely, down to earth place worth seeking out.
Assirto is one of those places that we will remember, not only because of the food but also because it offered a wonderful social experience thanks to the interactions we had with its owners. This made us feel very comfortable and at home. Time flew by very fast and a few hours felt like a few minutes. The food, wine and whole experince were amazing. Looking forward to return!
Best place in the entire region! This family owned restaurant is such an amazing experience. The food is 10/10 (highly recommend the shrimp tartare and the tune), service is impeccable and the restaurant space is cozy and unique! Will come back for sure and also bring family and friends!
