Courte Paille - Mondeville

We visited this restaurant at Mondeville 2 Caen with a Groupon offer which was Buy one steak and chips get another for one Euro. To good to be true, In out case it was, My Entrocote steak was tough, grissly and I had to leave a lot of it on the plate, the chips were OK and plenty of them the only trouble being they ended up almost cold because ei spent too much time chewing the steak! They make up the price by charging you 3.50 Euros for a glass of Coca Cola Light. We were not impressed. The service at lunchtime was very quick.

Tired after driving for several hours, I decide to have an easy dinner at the steakhouse located in the hotel. Wrong decision ... the first entrecotte ordered au point (medium done) returns to the chef for a second grill. Once back, I discover it is so nervouse and wrongly cooked, to make it impossible to eat. Second choice: pavè of rumpsteak. After a long wait, it arrives: good cut, but again, grilled with superficiality. The all, seasoned with a gloomy service. The place needs to be completely re projected....

Cette fois ci pas du tout déçus par le travers de porc. Personnel aimable et accueillant. Un petit plus par rapport à l'année dernière.

Nous sommes allé à ce jour manger à Courtepaille Mondeville avant une séance de ciné, ça faisait bien longtemps que nous n'avions pas mangé chez eux et quel déception ce fut au niveau qualité service et prix !! une sauce roquefort qui baignait dans son huile ,une pièce du bouché à point trop cuite et pour finir un café liégeois avec deux boules glace caramel !!!!! tout ça pour un prix exorbitant, franchement grosse déception et à fuir!
