We had a visitor come to visit for a few days who had to eat gluten free due to a bowel disease. We checked around for gluten bakeries and found Nico’s in Riverview where we live. They were very accomodating and we had several items like bread, cookies, brownee and English style muffins made for pick up 3 days later (still warm). All was ready on time, the products were well received by our guest. Great service, good products. They also sell regular bakery items and have a coffee shop with breakfast and lunch.
Coffee was fine but nothing special the almond pear pastry was nice flaky crust and lots of fruit. The service was good.
Very nice place for lunch. Or to meet friends for coffee and talk. Like the very of breads and pasties. Friendy.
Nico Rhea provide classic French Bistro food, expertly prepared and served with finesse. Their salads, Croques Monsieur/Madame and Crepes are some of the best you'll have in all of Greater Moncton. Soups are fresh, home-made and delicious! They also offer a full compliment of espresso based coffees and local, fair trade beans.
Stopped into Nico 's for a quick lunch the other day. I had a Johnny Coupon for the place and thought I 'd give it a chance. Quaint little place, nothing lavish inside so don 't go expecting candle light or ambiance. I had ordered a roast beef baguette (came with a small side salad with house dressing) and my wife had the Greek salad and a bowl of their soup du jour (Tomato Basil) Only had to wait about 5 minutes for our meal. Soup was pipping hot and very good and the roast beef baguette came warm almost like right out of the oven. Nice Greek salad, but nothing that would say this is the best greek salad in the city! . Their house dressing was good. They offer a good size menu with plenty of options including gluten free items. They are also a bakery so fresh breads, rolls and sweets are also available. It 's a dine in or takeout, what ever you wish. Also is a coffee shop with WIFI and a few leather chairs. Prices are fair and not too expensive, so a good value for your dollar.
