Gusto offers cozy ambiance and excellent food, while Grotto provides an inviting atmosphere but falls short on service. Grotto's slow plates and unimpressive service hinder an otherwise promising experience. On the other hand, discover amazing flavors at Gusto, with friendly staff and impeccable service. Was Anonym at Grotto a mag?
Tucked on a nice little street in downtown Moncton, this little gem of a restaurant was a highlight of our Maritime vacation, and no seafood was consumed!!The service, impeccable. The food, absolutely amazing. The decor, charming and warm and even romantic, downstairs .Upstairs, trendy, nice, new, excellent.Everything about this place was a plus for us and would recommend it to anyone. View all feedback.

What Anonym dislikes about Grotto:
We were here for a special meal. Overall things were ok, but certainly not special or memorable. We enjoyed the atmosphere and decor, but the service was unenthusiastic and the food, though tasty, had just about zero appeal in presentation. I ordered a seafood pasta for 25 $ which arrived in a soup/cereal bowl with absolutely nothing in the presentation to make it stand out. As I mentioned, the food was good, however... As I mentioned, the food was good, however at that price you may expect a little bit of a special touch to engage all the senses. My partner had a pizza which was reasonably priced and he enjoyed it. Overall an ok experience but as locals who enjoy dining out and trying various places, probably not somewhere we would go back to in a rush.

We were quite excited to try it out as we had heard lots of great things about the place but were told that the menu had changed.. Service is great, risotto was tasteless, wine is overpriced. With all the great restaurants in Moncton, I'm not sure we will be back!

I absolutely love Grotto, it's my new favorite spot in Moncton. Owned by the same people as Gusto, but I think the food here is even better. The small plates allow you to try a variety of delicious items, and the cocktails are also really tasty.

The fried chicken at this fast food chain is surprisingly tasty.
