Reviews - Cafe Codiac
Reviews summary
Cafe Codiac is a popular spot with a diverse range of reviews. While some praise the friendly staff and wide variety of coffee blends, others find the service slow and the coffee lacking. The atmosphere is pleasant, with both indoor and outdoor seating available. The menu offers a good selection of breakfast items, sandwiches, and sweets. Prices are reasonable, though some customers find them a bit high. Overall, Cafe Codiac seems to cater to a wide range of tastes, with something for everyone, but it may not be worth going out of your way for.

This was my first visit to this restaurant and I absolutely loved it! I enjoyed sitting outside on the patio and could hear the birds chirping, despite its proximity to St. George Boulevard. I ordered a Dark Roast coffee with cream and indulged in their delicious cinnamon roll at home. It was absolutely yummy! View all feedback.
What Ashley L dislikes about Cafe Codiac:
Staff has improved but some are still short tempered and the dark roast coffee is sub par, but their medium/light roast is consistent. It’s definitely hipster service where the coffee sometimes takes as long to make it as it does to drink it. The carrot muffins are worth a second trip. View all feedback.

Been here countless times, as it's in my neighborhood, and they've done a nice job of making this over from a cold, bright, former liquor store to a reasonably warm, welcoming cafe (no easy task). They roast coffee on site, so you know it's fresh, and the food menu is larger than a lot of cafes. I've not been blown away by the food, but it's perfectly fine. Lots of room and a fair bit of privacy in certain spots if you're doing the meet a client thing, as I often do. Fast service, lots of parking, and you never feel like you have to leave if lingering a little.
Codiac sells the most expensive latte I have ever bought in North America at $6.10.
Drinking coffee is all based on flavors. At the Codiac they have a couple of great choices every day hopefully you can spend some time there and enjoy your coffee and some of the other great treats they have
My favorite place for excellent coffee and a breakfast sandwhich on saturday mornings. They offer a variety of amazing coffees and have a nice little menu. Friendly and helpfull staff add to the experience.
This is a great coffee house with a large variety of blends located in a big establishment with outside/inside parking. The service staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. It's a privately owned business and the young owner is a great host. There is a large and regular crowd at Cafe Codiac and it's a great place to meet friends or to have small meetings.

Every staff member was very friendly, and helpful. The cappuccino and breakfast sandwich were delicious. I'd recommend it.
Great coffee. Nice people. One of my favourite places to work and get mochas in Moncton. Decent sandwiches. Yummy treats. Incredibly sweet staff
Tried this place for the first time then came back the next day. Nice staff. Amazing food and coffee. I'd give 6 stars if I could!
In the Moncton area, we have an array of cute and cozy coffee shops with warm service and yummy non-dairy milk lattes. This one is not one of them.
I really enjoy coming to Café Codiac when I want to get out of the house for a couple of hours. The staff are nice and friendly, there are a lot of tablets and seating, the drinks are always piping hot and delicious, and their sandwiches (both breakfast and otherwise! are very satisfying. I've yet to try their house soups but I have no doubt they'll be great! The wifi is of good quality and it's a great place to catch up on some work, study, read, or have a meet up with a friend.Parking: Parking is plentiful and easy access. If the parking lot is full, the Cafe is too, as there is just the right amount of parking.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp and plenty of room inside the Cafe to move around in a wheelchair or with a walker.

Great place with excellent staff. Felt quite cozy and the food gave it a nice, home-cooked meal kind of feel.
Tried the hot apple cider today it was perfect. Nice and tarte. Always liked going here since it opened. Excellent local Cafe and coffee shop.
I used to visit any time I was in Moncton living here now and it's my go to place for hot coffees and beans (I think they have tea too...lol) I love the lattes SO much, beans roasted in house, makes a huge difference. Lots of choices no matter what you want to drink or eat. We had no power after Fiona, and even though they were super busy staff were patient and quality stayed great. Love you guys!!

The nitro cold brew has to be the best coffee I've ever had. The breakfast sandwich was fantastic as well. The place has a very good atmosphere. My new favorite spot
Great local place for a great coffee and lunch. Staff are always friendly. Recommend this place highly
Nice place, friendly staff and always very tasty. The food and coffee that is... not sure if the staff is tasty or not
Great Cafe, friendly staff. New to buying roasted beans for coffee at home, was given recommendations that we loved. Love the breakfast sandwiches!

My first visit to Cafe Codiac today. I am visiting friends this weekend and thought it would be nice to bring some local coffee along as a thank you....
Great coffee and baked goods. My wife and I like to stop in after a day of errands before heading home.
Dine your heart out, Starbucks! The selection and service here are unmatched in the city. Please support local small businesses!

The staff was friendly, but this place has no own toaster and cannot guarantee that there will be no cross-contamination.
I often go to lunch for the last two years. The staff is knowledgeable and they take precautions, glove change, separate toaster. Delicious gluten-free bread and even lactose-free cheese. Your drinks are also safe and affordable as a bonus. Breakfast sandwich, large gluten-free cookie and a frozen hot chocolate with almond milk costs around $13 (txe in).

I have been going to this restaurant for lunch regularly for the past two years. The staff is well-informed and takes precautions such as changing gloves and using a separate toaster. They offer delicious Gluten Free bread and even lactose-free cheese. Their drinks are also safe and reasonably priced. For around $13 including tax, you can enjoy a breakfast sandwich, a large gluten-free cookie, and a frozen hot chocolate with almond milk.
