This place a still a bit pricey with average portions. Will see what new management does. Recently changed owners and now serving Asian/Korean food as well as regular menu. Have not tried new menu items yet but love the clam chowder. Large container for take out will run you around $7 with taxes, and they finally added the choice of a bun instead of plain tea biscuit.
The bahn mi sandwiches at this restaurant are delicious and reasonably priced. As far as I know, it is one of the only places in Moncton to get them. Enjoy, and you're welcome.
I would describe this small café in the Blue Cross building as a cafeteria-style restaurant. It is ideal for a quick and easy lunch visit. Your food is ready within minutes of ordering and, in my experience, the quality has been decent. The menu is simple, offering soups and sandwiches that you order on a cafeteria tray. The prices may be a bit high, but the convenience of fast service is worth it. The staff is always friendly and helpful. With seating available, it is a good spot for a speedy lunch meeting. I will definitely continue to visit.
This restaurant caters primarily to the lunch crowd in the downtown area and is not open in the evenings or afternoons. They offer sandwiches, soup, and more.
Place is extremely overpriced for what you get. A sandwich made on grocery store bread using cheap ingredients will cost you almost $6.00. The food is just not good at all. The staff is mediocre... I guess what you would expect for a minimum wage establishment. Not too friendly, uneducated, etc. Not worth your time to go here. There are much better places around Main st where you can get twice the quality of food for same price. You are much better off going to the Delta cafe. Overall reputation of this cafe is terrible,... I can't imagine they will stay in business much longer as people are now realizing they can walk 5 minutes and find something better. Never heard anything good about this place and going there myself has proved the opinions I have heard right.
