This place serves one of the best burgers I've eaten - except for my own. Lots of topping choices as well. Since I'm not a french fry fan I've only stolen a few from my wife, but those were good. I usually get a 6 pack of wings to go with my burger. Their's are excellent and they have about a dozen different dipping sauces for the wings. I always have my happy face on when I leave. Visited with family on a Saturday in July. It wasn't overly busy and service was pretty speedy. It is a bit of a greasy spoon style burger joint... we got a burger & cheeseburger platter, a hotdog with onion rings and french fries. The burgers were decent eats. Certainly enjoyable. The fries and rings though, holy GREASE. You expect a certain amount of grease but its like these babies were saturated in fat... even fo... View all feedback.
Havent been in awhile but we were out that way and everyone was starving. Toppings are plentiful but either i am going crazy or the patty size has shrunk. Also i was so impressed last time when they put a sticker on each burger so you could tell who's was who's..this time, nope...had to open each and tear them apart to tell. They used to drop an extra scoop of fries in the bag too...not anymore. All these little things combined with the obviously watered down drinks and it seems like they are struggling financially. They won't be getting my burger buck. Nothing special here anymore....
Should have guessed it would be a disappointment when there was no one but staff in the restaurant at 5:30 pm. Over $27 dollars for 2 meals. Burger was dry, which was surprising considering how greasy it was.
We got the burgers, were surprised when they came as doubles (is that supposed to happen?) so was very filling. I liked the pickles etc, found the onion rings greasy though. The poutine was okay as well. Overall decent if you are in the mood for some burgers. Next time we'll try the wings.
We decided to try this restaurant on New Year's Eve after hearing some good reviews. It wasn't too crowded and we were able to get a table quickly. The French fries were delicious, but the burgers were just okay - the cheese didn't even melt. The soda was cold and they had a wide variety of toppings and sauces for the burgers, which was nice. I might consider going back in the future.
If you want very casual, comfort food, this is the place to go! Kids just love it. Great burgers and wings.
