The service was impeccable and being gluten free was not a problem for them. The food was all delicious the prawn fritters and cod bacalhau with a crust really special. It was beautifully presented and all regional produce cooked with flair

My wife was checking the ingredients on ice creams to see which ones were safe for our daughter, who has a potentially life threatening allergy, when a man apparently the manager came over aggressively and told her she shouldn’t be handling them. Note there was no sign to say this and the ice cream counter was freely available in the public area. My wife explained why she was reading the wrappers but he had no patience or interest in listening, he just continued to be aggressive and rude. My wife was left in tears, and so was our daughter who witnessed the exchange. Needless to say, we ended up going elsewhere, but it really spoiled our day. We have never had such a horrible experience in a cafe when trying to buy our daughter a safe treat. Not recommended.

We had two steaks on bread that tasted exceptionally good. we will be back
