We left our camper van in the car park in front of reception while we waited for reception to open our van was broken into and our passports and valuables stole... read more We left our camper van in the car park in front of reception while we waited for reception to open our van was broken into and our passports and valuables stolen along with another van which was also parked. I can’t believe this is the first time this has happened and I feel there should be signs to warn about leaving your van unattended. The site is ok staff appear friendly but the toilets and showers are woeful. There appears to be plenty of cameras inside the site but nothing protecting the car park for reception. Needless to say this has not been a good experience

We stayed 2 nights at the camping (also really good) and we ate here both evenings and I regret not having lunch here aswell. The first night we had mixed starter of meat and some fish. And then boyfriend had sicilian pizza and I had pizza piquante. Mine was superb and boyfriend had no problems finishing his completely (even though the portions are big). However, the second night I had a revelation: pasta marinara in a crust. This was just divine. Fresh made thick, chewy pasta and a lot of seafood in a lushious sauce, topped with a delightfull crust made from pizzadough! Cannot recommend this enough!

The food is... read more We have had dinner there every evening of our 3 night stay on the camping of Grinto. The restaurant is visited by many Italians and is rather busy. The food is very good and they have a nice menu with lots to choose from. During the weekend reservation is necessary, during the week recommanded. We loved it.

My colleagues arrived first and were first greeted with what do... read more This was a first visit to the restaurant and a group of 16 persons were having lunch at Grinto. My colleagues arrived first and were first greeted with what do you want from the person near the entrance. After being shown our table, we asked where to put our coats and were sent to the other end of the restaurant, after some discussions. Although as a group, you may expect some delays in getting the food, in our case, one colleague received her plate with the wrong food and sent it back. It then came back some time after with raw pork and was again sent back. In other cases, the secondo was brought to our table quite later all the others had finished eating. Paying was also challenging as we were told to pay at the cash but all others were paying at the table thus, the cashier was dealing with their bills first. Overall, the food was not bad however the overall service was just not acceptable. I would not recommend this restaurant.
