They have never disappointed me after these few years, from their days at Tall Timber. Fresh salad, sauces made fresh from fresh ingredients, not bottled ones. I find them genuinely create menus that encourage a healthy lifestyle! With the current outbursts of all day breakfast menus and contemporary cuisines all over Melbourne, Melbournians are given a lot of choices! However, many of them 'flavour up' their menus with unhealthy processed meat like fried bacons, toasts and lots of potato chips. I find Left Field consistent with their push for healthy offerings. Thank you for setting the standard for healthy cooking at a way better price than others!

I had the lamb dis... read more This was close to my drop off point for car service. Very popular and a lot come through for take away coffee. For me the coffee was average. I had the lamb dish with cauliflower, hummus, pomegranate and sumac, it was exquisite, lamb was really tender,great flavor combination and can highly recommend.

It was also en... read more I went to this restaurant with friends and the coffee, service, and food were all excellent. We sat outside and they turned on the heater for us. It was also enjoyable to bring our friend's dog to the covered outdoor area where dogs are allowed. He relaxed while we enjoyed our meal in the warmth of the outdoors. We will definitely return.

I first visited this restaurant... read more Left Field is exceptional in every way. The service is consistently impeccable, the food is exceptional and expertly presented. I first visited this restaurant a couple of years ago, and upon returning last week (3 times), I found it to be just as impressive as my initial visit. We often bring our dog and 8-month-old baby, and enjoy sitting outside under the heaters during the winter months. I highly recommend giving Left Field a try - it is one of my favorite cafes.
